The product register has been developed to assist businesses to obtain information about software which may assist them to meet their reporting obligations.

This specification is to be used in the development of software for the lodgment of electronic versions of the Taxable payments annual report (TPAR).

If you choose to provide information to a contractor about what you reported on a TPAR to the ATO, you can use the Payee information statement. Note that you don’t need to provide contractors with any of these details.
