Some employees may not be covered by an award or agreement, but all employees in Australia are entitled to a minimum wage and the National Employment Standards. The National Employment Standards are minimum employment entitlements for each employee such as maximum weekly hours, annual and personal leave entitlements, flexible working arrangements, and notice of termination.
For more information, go to the Fair Work Ombudsman website. There you will find more information, calculators, templates and training related to paying your employees.
