Pay slips ensure that employees receive the correct pay and entitlements and help employers to keep accurate and complete records. A pay slip has to be given to an employee within one working day of pay day, even if an employee is on leave. It may be issued in electronic form or as hard copy.
If you’re paying wages by cash, you and your employees should sign a record to confirm the amount of money that has been paid in each pay period.
