Keeping your information secure

It’s important to keep your business, staff, and client information safe.

There are a number of ways you can do this:

  • Be aware of what you share! Do not provide personal or sensitive information to others unless you know they are genuine.
  • If you’re unsure if a call is genuine, ask for the details of the caller, and check their credentials by ringing their employer on a phone number you have looked up (not the one they provide you).
  • Scams are becoming more common and fake websites, letters, emails, and texts are looking more and more like the real thing. If you suspect that something isn’t right, do not respond to the communication, or click on any attachments or links.
  • Always check the facts if you come across a ‘scheme’ that looks too good to be true.
