Single Touch Payroll (STP)

Each time you pay employees, you need to report payroll information to the ATO using a Single Touch Payroll (STP) enabled product. An STP-enabled product allows you to send your tax and super information to the ATO, each time you run your payroll.

The payroll information you must report includes salaries and wages, PAYG withholding and super.

STP reporting can only be sent to the ATO using STP-enabled products. 

There is a wide range of STP products available for employers, or you can also ask a third party (such as a tax or BAS agent or payroll service provider) to report for you using their product.
